“Don’t
be misled – you cannot mock the justice of God. You will always harvest what
you plant” (Galatians 6:7).
There was a man who tried to rid his house of mice. He
bought a mouse trap but had no cheese. To remedy the problem, he cut out a
picture of cheese from a magazine. He loaded the trap with the artificial
cheese and went to bed. When he checked the mousetrap that following morning he
was quite surprised to find a picture of a mouse in the trap. A counterfeit
lifestyle produces artificial results!
Short and simple thought: artificial seed will yield a
counterfeit harvest. What are you sowing today? With what attitude are you
sowing? Short cuts never lead to destiny, and laziness never leads to success.
Regroup, refocus, and reevaluate your agenda for the day. Put Christ and His
principles first in everything you do. Sow the good seed that is placed within
you and you will see a bountiful harvest. Happy planting!
Pray
with Me:
God,
help me be genuine in all I do, and to all plant good seed. I realize when I
try to take shortcuts and substitute that which is real with that which is
artificial; I will yield a counterfeit harvest. Help me be pure and honest in
all things. Amen.
